Las Olas Gift Certificates
Now Accepted by Las Olas Shops! An exciting new Las Olas Gift Certificate program has been launched by the Las Olas Association! "We’ve been developing a gift certificate that will be honored by all of our members, which is the majority of the shops, restaurants, beauty salons, art galleries and other specialty retailers on Las Olas." enthused Chris Gaus, president of the Las Olas Association. The Las Olas Gift Certificates are available on a year ‘round basis and according to Chris, "they make the perfect gift for anyone!!" The gift certificate itself was designed by Tangled Spider Design Group and will be processed by City National Bank, thanks to board member Sharon Schwartz who is the bank’s vice president. "This will make gift giving a whole lot easier," according to Amanda Greene, the Las Olas Association's executive director. "Those looking for the perfect gift for any occasion, need not look any further, as these allow the recipients to decide where they want to shop." Amanda advised. Amanda added that some corporations are buying these as incentives for customers and employees. We have responded to the many requests we have gotten over the past two years to create a gift certificate that people or corporations can give as gifts throughout the year; that would be honored by most of the Las Olas business community. Sharon provided expert advice as to how to print a MICR (pronounced micer) bar code on the gift certificate, so that merchants can deposit these just like checks. "This was the ‘key’ to making it universally appealing," Chris Gaus noted. "The specially designed gift certificates can be purchased on our website in denominations of $25.00, $50.00 and $100.00."
